Animal house took on a whole new meaning when I tried this burger: Meat Eatery’s Cow 🐄 & Pig 🐖 Burger. It has 2 different patties. One is an Angus burger with their house blend and the other is a chorizo patty made with pork. You get a slice of American cheese on one patty and provolone cheese on the other. It’s then topped with beer-braised onions and served with a side of chimichurri aioli (not pictured). It was an amalgam of flavors that worked very well together. After trying the Burger Beast sauce, I can’t help but imagine it would have been very tasty on this burger. Maybe next time Chef George Patti, eh?

Babe’s Burger + Bacon + Beast Sauce = Pure Joy. Babe Froman has a really great burger. They grind their own meat for their patties and that’s the first sign of a great burger. It’s topped simply with American cheese, house-made pickles, & Sriracha mayo. And that is all it needs. It’s beauty is in it’s simplicity. I added bacon because that’s my favorite topping for burgers and they make some great tasting bacon. Since I’m into sauces, I added some of Burger Beast’s new guava sriracha ketchup. An already great burger was elevated to new flavor heights. The sauce is on the sweet side, since it’s a fruit-based ketchup, but has a nice spicy kick from the sriracha. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Pinecrest area.

Taco Tuesday comin’ in hot with these @Pincho Ropa Vieja tacos. Don’t try to use Google Translate or you’ll just be confused by the name. Just know that “ropa vieja” is a delicious stewed beef in a tomato sauce base. Mine was topped with cilantro, pickled onions, and chipotle aioli. Nice to see @Pincho changing up their monthly specials (though my heart will forever yearn for la Croquetesa). đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„ #spideylikestacos #pinchopartner

The burger from @MonduMiami might look like a McD’s cheeseburger with it’s chopped onions and pickles, but once you take your first bite you’ll realize how wrong you were. The meat patty is nicely spiced and is very flavorful. Being a Venezuelan restaurant, they have the customary pink and garlic sauces, which add a huge flavor punch, but are totally unnecessary as the burger stands on it’s own just fine. Oh, and the fries that come with it are amazing. They’re fried and salted to perfection with a crispy crust on the outside and a soft, creamier center. #spideylikesburgers
