This beauty is a (messy) beast! The Pincho Quesadilla burger is a genius creation: 2 beautiful cheese quesadillas serve as buns for their “beast”, the natural 1/3 lb Schweid & Sons patty. It’s topped with guac, pico, and crema since that’s usually what you want with a great quesadilla. You’ll definitely get your hands dirty with this one so have lots of napkins ready. On #NationalSuperHeroDay, this is how I take out the trash. I also went out for a bike ride with that same mask. Many giggled and laughed. Some may actually have been laughing at me. Since laughter is said to be the best medicine, all laughter was welcomed. Even if you just cracked a smile, you released enough endorphins to give your body a nice boost. We need more laughter during these trying times. It will at least make life a little more enjoyable and a little less stressed. It will help get us through this with the best attitude possible. Thinking back to this incredible unfiltered craft stout from Cervezeria Szot in the Maipo Valley in Chile (back when we could still travel). It poured pitch black and looked like some good ‘ol café Cubano. It had a nice creamy mouthfeel with strong coffee and chocolate notes. Now, for some real talk. As most of you may know, now is definitely NOT the time to travel. Please stay home as much as you possible to stop the spread of this virus. You can still spread the virus even if you have no symptoms. That’s the scary part. It may not be lethal to you if you’re younger, but you don’t what to give it 👵🏼 or 🧓🏼 as they have a much higher risk of complications. While you’re home, you can still do your part to help #SupportLocalBusinesses by calling your favorite restaurants and asking them about delivery and pickup options. Call them first, before just ordering from a delivery app so your money fully goes to supporting them and their employees. Many delivery apps charge upwards of 30% to businesses for your order. You can also use apps like Slice, which charge much less, and allow local businesses to keep most of the money from your order. Whatever you do, please stay safe out there.

This is what you need the Monday after #DaylightSavingsTime starts: the KFC Donut Fried Chicken sandwich. You’ll thank me later. This sandwich was a mess to eat, but it was worth it. As many of you know, I’m a big fan of chicken & waffles and salty/sweet combinations, in general. This sandwich nailed it. The pillowy soft glazed donuts surprised me. I didn’t think KFC was capable of such a good donut; I was expecting a more donut-like type of bread. Of course, you get their famous fried chicken in between both donuts, for that savory punch. I definitely will be back for more. This was literally finger lickin’ good. #spideylikesfriedchicken
