I think this is the first time I’m more excited for the bun than the burger. These buns are @RedLobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I made them fresh at home with the mix I bought from @AmazonFresh. I used Amazon’s own brand of Mexican 4 cheese blend instead of just cheddar and I thought they came out 4x as good. I add double the cheese the recipe calls for and to me they’re perfect. Believe me when I tell you that these biscuits are just as good as in the restaurants, if not better. Oh, I almost forgot about what’s in between those luscious buns. That’s a @BeyondMeat patty with melted @SargentoCheese provolone cheese. It was very good. If you think fried chicken & waffles are good, you’re in for a treat when you try fried chicken & french toast. This beauty is Chef Brian Hill’s Fried Chicken & Texas Style French Toast sticks, as he calls it. These looked like regular sized french toast to me, but I guess everything is bigger in Texas, as they say. They were nice and crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. With great flavor throughout. The fried chicken was perfectly, golden fried. Crisp outside, tender inside. Add syrup and combine every together and you have yourself a party in your mouth. Flavor. Jose makes a mean burger at @Doggis. This is Jose’s Burger: guayanes cheese, tomato and caramelized onions. The huge slab of cheese is nice, but the real star are those caramelized onions. They’re perfectly caramelized so the inherent sweetness comes out and contrasts nicely with the savory burger. Always my go-to when I order from #Doggis, in addition to their amazing cachapas.
